Mega man!

I love mega man games and his music, so kicking off my fan art season is the best remember I had from my childhood (in game stuff).

And this is the layers I use, I find myself pretty comfortable with this painting/render process.

I felt like testing a "render" type of painting. It was only a quick test, but then I get caught between the lines. Hope you like it! =)

First the line art, but in a frontal occlusion style (after I set the layer to 75% opacity)

Then the basic light (and set to 75% opacity)

The colour (or diffuse) was meant to haven't any lighting, but I just was out of control D:

Ambient light are two layers, one is an overlay to give volume. The other one is a light orange hard light on top of everything, over the left arm and shoulder. Oh! and a extra layer to the freckles in the arm and back (those who has to be in the diffuse layer)

 Then add details, like blood, and war paint, and a layer for a rim light.
